Flemington welcome return of wine express
Spring is on the way, and that means it is almost time for a Flemington area attraction to kick off its 2025 season.
The Hunterdon Wine Express will once again be transporting passengers on a journey that will explore Hunterdon County. Each excursion will be a round trip, and they will start in Flemington and visit Old York Cellars Winery in Ringoes. The suggested dress for the function is casual with sturdy walking shoes.
The boarding will take place at Flemington Station and the train will make its way to Ringoes Station while a guide supplies details about the destination and its history. Here, the ticket holders will board the shuttle service to the winery. A guided tour led by a wine ambassador and lunch with pairings of wines are on the agenda, and the participants will then be taken back to the station for their return trip home. Tickets to ride are $99 each, and dates have been scheduled from late April through to early September.
