Flemington is proud of its vineyards, and one of these will be the destination for a series of rail outings taking place on dates throughout the spring and summer.
Dubbed the “Hunterdon Wine Express,”, passengers for the trip will be climbing aboard their train in Flemington, which is operated by the Black River and Western Railroad. It will transport them to Old York Cellars, and as they travel, they can sit back, relax, and enjoy the views.
The riders will disembark for a visit to Old York Cellars Winery in Ringoes, where they will be invited to enjoy a wine tasting as well as lunch. A guided tour is on the agenda, and everyone will also be treated to chocolate as well as a charcuterie spread. A shuttle service will drive the ticketholders from the train to the winery and back again.
Businesses in the hospitality sector often host special activities during the tourist season. A brochure printing company can prepare pamphlets and other informational materials that may be helpful to those planning their visit to an area.
This train trip planned with wine lovers in mind will be on offer on dates starting this Saturday, April 13, and the final one will pull out from the station on September 14. Boarding will take place at 33-99 Stangl Road.
