Flemington railway to offer summer wine experiences
Flemington locals and visitors to the community alike who enjoy sipping on glass of vino may want to reserve their tickets for a tour offering views of the area's rural spaces.
The Hunterdon Wine Express is set to pull out from the station in Flemington for a series of round-trip tours to Old York Cellars Winery in Ringoes. The departure point will be located at 33-99 Stangl Road, and the experience will be guided by subject matter experts.
Passengers will be transported through some of the area’s scenic rural spaces, and when they arrive at the winery, they will be treated to a guided wine, charcuterie, cheese, and chocolate pairing before they take their seat for lunch. They will be able to taste an assortment of wines, and there will be time to walk the venue’s grounds. The train trip is approximately 25 minutes long, and tickets are $99 each.
Creative activities may help to draw attention to a community's hospitality sector. A poster printing company can craft materials that can help to publicize such an event, and it can work with most budget levels.
The schedule for the Hunterdon Wine Express began in April and runs until mid-September, and tickets may be purchased in advance. They will take place rain or shine, and comfortable footwear is highway recommended. The next tours will be on June 22 and 23.
