This June, a Flemington venue will be making the most of a summer evening by welcoming guests for a soiree that will help fund environmental service projects in the Hunterdon County region.
Hunterdon Land Trust has cordially invited one and all to attend its Wine and Art on the Farm event, which will include works created by local artists. Historic Dvoor Farm will provide a relaxed and peaceful setting for the occasion, and a call for submissions has been issued to the local area.
Attendees at the event will be treated to sips of wine while they view the art on display. As they mix and mingle, they can purchase any pieces that catch their eye, and each ticket includes a drink of wine or beer, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment provided by Bill Ihling. The function is restricted to those aged 21 and up.
Area artists that would like to contribute one of their works to the fundraiser are asked to submit their application before next Sunday, May 18. A banner printing company can prepare Banners and other decor for a special event, including signage that gives information about each of the artists featured.
Hunterdon Land Trust is set to welcome guests for Wine and Art on the Farm at 5:30 pm on Friday, June 20. It will be on offer at 111 Mine Street in Flemington.
