A young employee at the Unity Bank and resident of Flemington was recently honored by the New Jersey Bankers Association.
The NJBankers awarded Christopher Burke, an assistant vice president and credit analysis, its New Leader in Banking Award at the organization’s gala entitled ‘Future Leaders in Banking’, which was recently held in Atlantic City.
Aged 27, he is one of only 23 employees in the state’s banking industry under the age of 40 to be honored in this way by the trade association, which represents more than 350 institutions statewide.
He received his post-secondary education at Kean University, and prior to his employment at the Unity Bank, he held similar positions in institutions in Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. He has been with Unity Bank for the past two years.
The CEO and President of the bank noted that, as an advisor for the senior management, Mr. Burke plays a very important role in the bank, and he wished him every success in the future.
The gala was part of the NJBankers trade show, which had the theme of ‘Bank Horizons’.
An award like this can mean a lot to the person who receives it, as it acknowledges one’s hard work and determination to succeed. A document printing company can create high-quality award certificates that make excellent mementoes of the day. These can be hung at home or in the office, where they will be proudly displayed.
