Kids are usually fascinated by big rigs, first responder vehicles and other equipment, and a Flemington event will give the young and the young at heart a chance to view them up close and in person.
A Touch a Truck activity is scheduled for Deer Path Park, and there’s no fee to participate. There will be at least 25 vehicles parked at the venue, and pre-registration is not needed.
The public that drops by for the celebration can view and touch everything from fire trucks to military jeeps, and an ambulance, dump trucks, police cars and other vehicles will all be rolling in. This year, the organizers have added a sensory friendly hour to the schedule, and during “Hold the Horn” there will be no sirens, flashing rights or horns sounding. This may be a good choice for those with sensory processing issues.
A free community event may attract a lot of attention, and they give neighbors a chance to gather and get to know each other. Many planners order small Promotional Products to give to each attendee on a special occasion, and these will be available at an area printer.
Flemington will be seeing its Touch a Truck day roll into the community on November 4th. It will welcome kids and adults alike at 120 West Woodchurch Road. It will draw to a close at 3:00 pm.
