Flemington fundraiser to stand with its wounded warriors

Even though it may not be visible, veterans sometimes still carry a heavy load even after they have taken off their ruck for the last time. A Flemington fundraiser wants to help shoulder their burden, and the whole family is invited to enjoy the festival planned in their honour.

VETRest and Rebuilding Warriors are the charities of choice for a musical festival that will be held at Schafer Farms, and its organizers are hoping it will be an event fans of blues and rock will not want to miss.

A lineup of artists will be taking to the stage, and this will be accompanied by a variety of activities. A petting zoo will give the kids a chance to enjoy meeting some friendly animals, and food trucks and a beer and wine station will also be on offer for the event’s older guests. A motorcycle run is also in the works for the day.

Along with raising money for a cause, an event like this can show veterans they have the full support of their community. A poster printing company can help with promoting the function - an important part of making it a success.

This opportunity to stand behind the community’s veterans and have fun doing it will be held on September 12. Tickets start at $10.
