A Flemington area not-for-profit group that gives companion animals a second chance at life will be benefiting from a day of fun in the sun next month.
The Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club will be welcoming the 9th annual Play Fore Paws and Claws golf tournament, which promises to offer many perks to those who take part. A sponsorship program is in place, and it will be a full-day activity.
The fundraiser will open in the morning with breakfast, and this will be followed by a shotgun start to the play. On-course beverages will be complimentary. Warm snacks and lunch are also included, and once the game is finished, it will be time to make tracks for the clubhouse where the players will be treated to an open bar and buffet reception.
Along with the rest of the day, registrants will be treated to the excitement of a helicopter ball drop. Awards will be presented to the top players, and both an even-split and raffle draw for baskets filled with donated Corporate Gifts and other prizes will take place.
This opportunity to hit the links at a local course while showing some love to companion animals will be on Thursday, September 12, with tee-off at 9:00 am and players able to check in from 7:30 am. Its Patch listing includes a ticketing link.
