Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and Flemington families who want to treat mom to a special activity are welcome to attend a local event.
The families who register for the Paint and Plant afternoon that will take place at Samuel Fleming House Museum and Gardens will be engaging in some hands on crafting, and while there’s no cost to register, donations will be appreciated. All ages can participate, and its scheduled run time is three hours.
When they arrive for the afternoon, the attendees will be invited to use paint and other items to decorate a flower in whatever way they wish. They will then be able to use their custom creation as a planter for a flower. While the crowd works, they will be treated to some light refreshments, and when it's time to go home, they will be able to bring their potted plant home with them.
When preparing for this sport of function, it may be wise for the organizers to consult the Covid-19 prevention measures that are in place in their community.
