Flemington kids who register for a special upcoming event will learn how to keep their fine feathered friends safe.
Parents, kids, and anyone else who is interested in learning more about the birds that call the Flemington area home may find that the Window Clings for Birds activity, which is being offered by the Bucks County Audubon Society, has lots to catch their interest. It will include both presentations and hands-on learning, and all of the materials needed are included in the ticket price being charged.
The activity will see the group head outdoors for a mini birding hike so they can practice the identification skills they will be learning, and the instruction will be focused on the species that live in the region. Anyone who has binoculars is welcome to bring them, and before they go home, each registrant will be able to craft a window cling they can use to warn birds that there is glass in their way, since this is a common cause of bird injury and death.
Hands-on activities provide a way to make learning fun, and Print shops can lend a hand. They will be able to prepare any handouts needed along with a full line of cost-effective marketing materials.
This morning of learning all about birds will be offered on April 30, starting at 10:00 am. The venue location will be 2877 Creamery Road.
