When a special train pulls into Flemington, it will be all aboard for an hour and a half of family-friendly Easter-themed fun.
The Easter Bunny Express will once again be offering rides to the public, and all area families welcome to hop aboard. Everyone who purchases a ticket is asked to arrive for check-in 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time, as health screenings will be performed to help keep the riders safe. Face masks are required for all passengers two years of age and up.
This year, the passengers will be treated to an egg hunt at Ringoes picnic grove, and everyone will need to supply their own bag or basket. Peter Cottontail himself will be the guest of honor, and parents will be able to take some special photos of him with their child. There will be three departure times each day to choose from, and the route will wind through some areas noted for their scenery.
Planning an event like this may require some special measures in the current environment. Health screening sheets and waivers can be prepared for the occasion by a local company that offers Letterheads and other custom Stationery.
The East Bunny Express will be welcoming passengers on March 27 and 28, as well as April 3. Ticket holders will be boarding at the Flemington Station.
