Anyone who loves viewing classic cars may want to include a local event in their plans for this October.
It is almost time for the FSHS annual Car Show, and as this will be its 10th year, the organizers are hoping that it will be a well-attended celebration. It is being hosted by the Flemington Speedway Historical Society (FSHS), and the plan is for it to take place in Roger K. Everitt Fairgrounds.
Those who attend the function will be treated to a step back in time as they view the vintage vehicles, cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses, and even planes expected to be in the mix. There will also be a variety of commercial vendors on site, as well as a flea market and parts swap area. Admission to the event is $5, and anyone who would like to show off their pride and joy is welcome to apply.
