Flemington foodies who want to be in the know when it comes to wine may want to be sure they don’t miss out on a tasting opportunity that will be hosted by Grape Finale Hands on Winery.
The guests at the event will be led on a guided tour of three different seafood dishes, each of which will be paired with a selected wine. These will be sourced from Grape Finale’s own stock, and will showcase the kinds of products that can be produced on site.
The evening will open with roasted hake and chardonnay, which will be followed by pan roasted sea bream paired with a pinot noir. Next, the guests will be invited to enjoy monkfish medallions and an Opus blend, and the session will then draw to a close with a dark chocolate sampler, which will be served alongside some vintage Syrah Port.
This special evening, which will begin at 6:30 pm, will give local wine lovers a chance to experience the types of wine they can make at a hands-on winery. A printer’s graphic design staff can prepare a variety of signage and other items that can make this sort of function more informative for everyone taking part.
Flemington’s Grape Finale Hands on Winery has made plans to host its tasting party on November 12. Tickets start at $65.
