Flemington evening to be filled with Halloween fun

Flemington is set to celebrate Halloween with an event that it hopes will delight both the young and the young at heart.

The community will be giving both human and “fur kids’ a chance to show off their best Halloween attire. They will gather at a set meeting point before they take to Main Street for a costume parade, and it is free to take part.

Along with the procession, the function will see prizes awarded to the top entries in several age categories. There will also be special awards presented to the best dressed pooch and for a group costume that includes three or more people. The categories will be funniest, most original, and also the scariest entries, and the Lone Eagle beer garden will be open so the adults can whet their whistle while they watch the kids go by. Entertainment will be included as well.

Communities that host seasonally themed celebrations may choose to order Banners and other decor from a banner printing company. It can custom design these materials for single or multiple use, and depending on how they are constructed, they may be suitable for use outdoors.

Flemington will be rolling out the orange and black carpet for this Halloween activity on Thursday, October 27. More details about the location for the parade’s staging area will be released to the registrants at a later date.
