Arborists – or tree experts – provide a range of services to their clients, and a local workshop will help them to do so safely.
The class is being offered by NJ Crane Expert in Flemington, and will be focused on ensuring those in the tree care industry know how to work safely around high voltage overhead wires and other potentially dangerous equipment.
Erick Palacios will provide the instruction. A variety of trade organizations may provide continuing education units for those who take part, and the registration fee is $385.00. Both English and Spanish options are available.
The training day will teach participants how to assess the risks presented at a particular job site, and everyone will learn how to work safely within 10 feet of live conductors and other electrical wiring. According to the event listing, the class meets the requirements put in place by OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
Students who successfully complete this sort of course will be able to show proof that they have participated in electrical hazard training to potential employers. Certificates of completion can be prepared by area Stationery printers, which can incorporate a Logo Design or other relevant graphics.
The English version of Electrical Hazards Awareness training will be on offer at NJ Crane Expert on February 2. It will be run in Spanish on the following day, and more details about both options can be found on its website.
