Registration is now open for an event near Flemington that may be of interest to educators who wish to find out more about the natural history of their local area.
The Alliance for NJ Environmental Education (ANJEE) will be hosting a daylong event that will feature outdoor workshops and highlight the flora and fauna of the state. An assortment of sessions has been planned, and will cover everything from birding to plant identification, and from sustainable technology to primitive skills. According to its description, the day will inspire teachers and other educators to incorporate the natural world in their lesson plans, and there will be activities planned for both before and after the workshop sessions.
An assortment of selected vendors and other exhibitors will have displays set up for the day, and the attendees are invited to browse through all they have to offer. The registration fee for attendees has been set at $50 each, and the price for an exhibitor table and space for one representative is $75 each. A local Print company can be counted on to provide any printed materials that are needed for a symposium such as this.
