Flemington’s lagomorph lovers have been issued an invitation to bring their bunny to an event that will offer lots to see and do for both those with two and four legs alike.
Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc., which is a local group that helps rescue and find homes for abused and abandoned domestic rabbits, has organized Bun-nanza as both an awareness and fundraising event. There will be activities for all ages, including some special ones for rabbits only, and everyone is welcome.
Those who attend the function are encouraged to bring their house rabbit along with them, as their four legged friend can try out the mazes and activity spaces that will be set up just for them. Pre-booked nail trims and grooming sessions are also on the agenda, and both bunnies and their owners capture the bunny’s new look in the photo booth. An interactive question and answer session is also included in the day, and a small vendor market will be on offer as well.
Tickets for the occasion are currently being sold for $5 each, and both the nail trims and grooming sessions can be booked separately. Donations to the cause will also be appreciated. An area printer can offer a variety of services, including Logo Design, for this sort of fundraising function.
This year’s Bun-nanza will be held in Clinton on November 4. The Clinton Community Center has been chosen as the venue for the festivities.
