The Flemington area will be honoring its military men and women, both past and present, during a concert that will be held in the local area, and it will offer an assortment of musicians, singers and other entertainment for the whole family.
The theater of North Hunterdon High School will be the location for the Patriotic Concert which will pay tribute to veterans and currently serving personnel. It is set to begin at 2:00 pm, and all are welcome.
The lineup for the afternoon will see Joe Piscopo serve as the MC, and the performers who are scheduled to take to the stage include vocal and orchestral performances. Big Band and Broadway style entertainment is also on the slate, and the monies raised through ticket sales will be used to help meet the cost of providing medical and rehabilitation support and other services to veterans in need.
The members of the committee organizing the occasion noted that sponsorships are available for any individual or company that would like to lend a hand to the event.
