Corn, tomatoes, and beer to be focus of Flemington festival

Flemington is known for being one of the state’s top sources for tomatoes, beer, and corn. This trifecta will be taking pride of place in the upcoming festival, where the food and drinks will be paired with entertainment and other festive fun.

Known as being the USA’s corn and tomato capital, Flemington has a rich agricultural tradition. These ingredients will be the basis of many of the dishes served during the celebration, and local chefs will be lending their talents to the occasion.

Beer lovers who come to the festival may wish to head straight to the beer garden, which will feature brews sourced from area microbreweries. The whole family can tap their toes to the live music, and if it turns out to be raining, there is no need to worry as the event will simply be rescheduled to the next day.

To help ensure that this community celebration is a success, the organizers have put out a call to local businesses that may be interested in taking part as an event sponsor or vendor. The planners can be reached at communications@flemingtoncommunitypartnership.org to discuss the opportunities available, and local Print shops will be able to supply any Promotional Products or other items that the participants need for an event like this.

This summer celebration of what makes Flemington special will be held on August 10. It will be on offer on Stangl Road.
