A medical symposium will he having its inaugural event in Englewood.
Presented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and Englewood Health, The First Annual Vascular Symposium is a daylong event that provides physicians and medical staff with the opportunity to learn about current issues in vascular surgery through an organized and structured educational program.
As part of the educational and highly interactive format for the day, there is a competitive case presentation component of the event, “Battle of the Best.” The deadline for abstract submission is October 17.
Registration and networking will begin at noon and opening comments by Dr. Thomas Bernik, Chief of Vascular Surgery will take place at 1:00 p.m. Following the opening session, the cases will be presented in timed sessions by a group of clinicians who will rotate throughout the day. Clinical staff presenting include Dr. S. Christopher Frontario, Dr. Nilesh Balar, Wound Care and the Podiatry department. Participating in industry events can be a good opportunity to exchange Business Cards.
After the final round of presentations, the judges will make comments and critiques before concluding the event at 6: 30 p.m. with an awards ceremony to recognize the best submissions of the day.
The First Annual Vascular Symposium will take place on November 7th from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST in Englewood Hospital’s Chiang Auditorium.
