Englewood residents who are nostalgic for music written during the 1960s and 1970s should be interested in a concert taking place in August.
The Happy Together Tour will feature live covers from a number of popular groups, and a handful of well-known tribute bands have already confirmed that they will be attending. The tour was originally created to pay homage to classic Billboard hits, and it has become a popular event in Englewood over the years. Organizers claim that no fewer than 61 hits will be performed, so guests can expect a wide range of genres.
Many of the groups scheduled to attend have also developed a solid reputation across the nation. Some of the groups that will be taking to the Englewood stage include The Troggs (best known for the song “Wild Thing”), Gary Puckett, The Fortunes, The Vogues, the Cowsills, and Chicago lead singer Jason Scheff.
There are many ways in which live music tributes can be promoted. Some common strategies include mass brochure printing, using volunteers to place Flyers in public locations, and mounting banner advertisements around the community.
The Englewood Happy Together Tour will be returning on Thursday, August 6 at 7:00 PM. This event is being hosted within the Bergen Performing Arts Center located at 30 North Van Brunt Street. Ticket prices begin at $49 per entry.
