Englewood set to host star-spangled concert

As the nation continues to celebrate its 250th birthday, and Englewood will soon be hosting a patriotic concert open to all residents. This event is slated to feature a host of well-known musical pieces performed by an ensemble of female singers.

A Celebration of 250 Years of America will be showcasing some of the songs that have become associated with themes of independence. Many of these are likely to be familiar to listeners, so a significant turnout is expected. Pieces performed will include This is My Country, the official anthem of the United States Air Force, and America the Beautiful.

All songs will be performed by The Allegro Singers. This group of female vocalists has performed extensively along the East Coast, showcasing their harmonic residence on stage. The Allegro Singers will be directed by pianist and composer Inna Leytush.

Coordinators of live classical concerts have been known to adopt marketing techniques that have proven their merit in the past. Some approaches may include flyer printing, distributing playbills with the help of volunteers, and paying for advertisements on local radio stations.

The Allegro Singers will be performing in Englewood on Saturday, November 14 at 7:00 PM. This concert is being hosted by the Englewood Public Library located at 31 Engle Street. It will last one hour and is free to attend.
