Attendees are invited to a cultural experience at the local library that highlights Caribbean heritage.
The Island Vibez event will show a mix of music, food, and cultural activities that give an overview of the lively customs of the Caribbean. It will no doubt appeal to those who are reggae aficionados, as well as those who just want to relax in a fun setting.
The event will happen at the front plaza and lawn, and the organizers say that even if tickets become unavailable on sites like Eventbrite, people should still just turn up. It is suggested that participants bring their own seating such as chairs or blankets for more comfort during the event. Graphic design can be used to promote a themed event.
DJ Frank G will be setting the mood on the decks. He is an experienced disc jockey from Englewood and has a rich Caribbean heritage. His career as a DJ started when he was in middle school and his love for music has never wavered since. People who attend the event should be ready for a lively and energetic experience.
Island Vibez is happening on Wednesday, August 28th from 7:00 pm at the Englewood Public Library. If the weather turns unsuitable, the event will be rescheduled for the following Wednesday, which will be September 4th.
