Englewood Health will be hosting a six-session series on Prenatal Meditation and Yoga this April and May.
The Tuesday night sessions are aimed at aiding expecting mothers in connecting with themselves and their babies, as well as preparing them for delivery and labor. Lasting one hour, sessions will be directed by Mary Ann Fernandez who is a meditation and CYT Instructor. During the sessions, participants will learn meditation techniques that focus on posture and breathing.
The program caters to both beginners and experienced meditation and yoga practitioners. It will also offer all participants the opportunity to converse with the educator and fellow prenatal moms. Attendees are advised to dress in comfortable clothing and bring water for hydration during the sessions.
Early registration for the six-session series is available for $100 if completed by April 9. The price will increase to $120 thereafter. Virtual attendance options are also available via Zoom, with further meeting information provided in the confirmation email.
Pre-registration and prepayment are mandatory, with online registration closing on April 22 at 7:00 pm. For those unable to register online before the deadline, direct registration can be made by contacting the Graf Center for Integrative Medicine via email at grafcenter@ehmchealth.org or by phone at 201-608-2377.
