Things take a turn for the strange in Edison

A popular science fiction series is about to be celebrated with a convention in Edison.

“Stranger Con” is a homage to the horror/science fiction series, “Stranger Things,” currently showing on Netflix. The program is now filming episodes of its fourth season, which are expected to be shown sometime this year.

'Stranger Things” is set in an Indiana town in the 1980s, where odd, sometimes supernatural events take place. The show has received many awards and award nominations, and has a large and growing fan base all over the world.

The convention will allow fans to meet cast members Gabriella Pizzolo, who plays Suzie; Chester Rushing, who plays Tommy H; Gaten Matarazzo, who portrays Dustin Henderson; Noah Schnapp, who brings Will Byers to life; and Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven. Rushing will also act as the convention's master of ceremonies, and New Jersey native Matarazzo, who plays in the rock group Work in Progress, will give an acoustic concert. Events like this are often advertised using poster printing.

At this time, Stranger Con is scheduled for June 13th and 14th, at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, located in Edison. Matarazzo's concert is scheduled for the 13th. Matarazzo and Pizzolo will be on the event only on the 13th, while Schnapp and Brown will attend only on the 14th. Interested parties should check the schedule from time to time in case of any changes.
