Lovers of sweets, especially chocolate, should plan on attending an upcoming event in Edison.
The Chocolate Expo 2022 Fall Edition is coming to the New Jersey Exposition Center, bringing with it wine, cheese, specialty foods, baked goods, and lots and lots of chocolate.
In addition to food and wine, the expo will have a “Kidz Zone” where young ones can enjoy craft activities, balloon twisting, face painting by Jamie, and magic courtesy of Eric Wilzig, who was a contestant on “America’s Got Talent.” Fairy tale princes and princesses will also appear.
Vendors are still being finalized, but a look at the most recent event gives a hint as to the type of artisans who will attend. They include Twizzles Tasty Treats, who produce chocolate truffles in different flavors; Spoonable Spirits, who provide pudding and Jell-O infused with liquor; and New England Pavilion Chocolates, whose products include meringues and chocolate bombs.
Tickets online are $20 per adult and $10 for children from ages 5 – 12. Children younger than 5 are admitted free. At the door, tickets are $30 for adults, and $15 for children. Entry is timed to help flow, so people should arrive at their designated time. There are discount tickets for 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm.
The expo is set for November 13, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm. When events like these are planned, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts with maps to make it easy for attendees to find favorite products.
