People who like a good scare should plan a visit to Edison soon for an upcoming festival.
The New Jersey HorrorCon and Film Festival is returning to the city to delight fans of the genre. Fans will have a chance to watch indie horror films, meet some of the actors and other artists who bring them to life, enjoy Q&A sessions, cosplay and watch a costume contest, and explore the treasures at the participating vendors.
The highlight for many fans is a chance to meet and chat with the celebrities who have appeared in their favorite projects. This year the guest list includes actors, most of whom have worked in both film and television, and directors. Among them are the cast members of “The Blair Witch Project,” who are having a reunion; Beverley Mitchell, who has appeared in “The Crow” and “7th Heaven; Robin Thomas, who was seen in “Amityville” and “Halloweentown”; and “God of War” star Daniel Kountz.
One of the biggest names is Richard Burgi, who has a twenty-year career that includes guest appearances on “Firefly,” “CSI” and “Knight Rider”; recurring roles on “Desperate Housewives,” “24,” and “Las Vegas”; and the lead role in “The Sentinel,” which ran for three years.
HorrorCon is scheduled for March 1 and 2 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison. Colorful events like this are often advertised with Posters, which organizers will find at Print shops.
