Purrfect event coming up in Edison

Cat puns aside, feline fanciers have an event just for them happening soon in Edison.

The Garden State Cat Club of New Jersey is the host of the largest cat show in New York and New Jersey, the Annual Expo & Show. The show is the perfect place for cat lovers to spend time with their favorite animals. Trainers and presenters will be on hand as well, and cats available for adoption will be putting on their most adorable act, looking for their forever homes.

Vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of cat-themed products for both humans and felines, such as cat furniture, candles, and gifts. Raffles are planned, and the show is also the occasion of a food drive where people are asked to bring food items that will be donated to various cat rescue groups.

There is even more fun in store, because cat costume contests will be held both days at lunchtime. The contests are limited to the exhibitors only.

The event is July 13 and 14, at the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison. The hours are from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm on the Saturday, and 10.00 am until 4.00 pm on the Sunday. When events like this are planned, organizers will often use flyer printing to create a handout with a show schedule and list of vendors.
