Pet expo coming to Edison

Edison pet parents have an event coming up that should make all their family members, including the furry ones, happy.

The Super Pet Expo will provide information about pet care, experts will be there to answer questions, and vendors will be on hand to provide products for the pets and their owners.

At present, more than 100 vendors have indicated they will be attending. The list includes companies that make pet treats, those that make clothing for pets, others that manufacture products to keep pets healthy, and others who make artistic photos and drawings of pets.

Planned events include a crab show; “Luring 101,” a course for dogs that all pups in good health can attempt; and two events for the feline fanciers: the Cat Fanciers Association agility course; and a Pet Me Cat Area sponsored by the Garden State Cat Club, where people can interact with adoptable cats and perhaps take home a new family member.

The expo is set for the period of February 7 to 9, at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center in Edison. Friday's hours are 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm; on Saturday, the hours are 10:00 am until 7:00 pm; and Sunday’s hours are 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for attendees at events like this, listing the location of various vendors, experts, and other important information.
