Youngsters who want to learn about robots and robotics are invited to an in-person workshop in Edison.
Moonpreneur is hosting the event, which is for children ages 7 to 14 years and their parents. The goal of the day is to introduce children to robotics in an engaging, hands-on manner, so that they have an educational experience that is also fun.
The day begins with check-in and a welcome, followed by an assignment to a specific workshop room. Youngsters will have a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute session, and will need to have a laptop with them. The first quarter of an hour will be devoted to assigning seats, and then the hour-long workshop will begin. Children will be introduced to coding and robotics, take part in hands-on exercises, enjoy fun activities and quizzes, and meet other students who are interested in the subject.
Parents will also have a 75-minute timeframe during which they will enjoy meeting the other youngsters, meet the Moonpreneur team and CEO, receive an overview of the program, and have a chance to network with other parents. There will be time to nibble on refreshments as well. Events like this give attendees a chance to pick up Business Cards from the organizer.
The Robotics Workshop for Kids is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, beginning at 11:00 am, at Hilton Garden Inn Edison/Raritan Center at 50 Raritan Center Parkway in Edison. Children will be given timeslots by age group.
