Holistic expo on the way in Edison

An exposition devoted to holistic practices is coming up in Edison.

The Heart of Oneness Holistic Expo will bring together those interested in the holistic approach to health, generally thought of as encompassing not only physical issues, but spiritual and mental aspects as well.

K.Ay’Nea and Matt Riley are the founders of Holistic Expo and the organizers of the event. Hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand with everything from crystals to psychic readings. Three of the exhibitors taken at random from the vendors’ list are Copacetic Candles LLC, who provide room sprays, wax melts, and candles; Keystone Farms Cheese, who are bringing artisanal cheeses from Wisconsin; and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an NGO non-profit.

On Saturday and Sunday, the first 200 attendees 18 years of age and older will receive a free tote bag. When events this size are planned, organizers often work with flyer printing to create handouts featuring maps of the venue, and a list of exhibitors.

The Heart of Oneness Holistic Expo is scheduled for April 5, 6. And 7 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison. The hours are April 5, 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm; April 6, 10.00 am until 7.00 pm; and April 7, 10.00 am until 5.00 pm. Admission is free on April 5, and $10.00 on both April 6 and 7. A weekend pass is $15.00, and for $30.00, attendees can purchase a weekend pass and receive a canvas tote with surprise items inside.
