Later this month, the Highland Park Outdoor Movie Theater will be presenting the movie ‘Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger’, the 1977 fantasy film starring Patrick Wayne and Taryn Power.
Admission is free and families are encouraged to make an appearance. Organizers suggest that guests bring their own chairs and stop by one of the local eateries to stock up on food and beverages to bring along for the evening.
This is one of three nights in the summer series that will have only one feature. In most cases, the evening’s viewing entertainment is divided into two films. The first earlier one is usually for the younger viewing crowd, with the later one targeting a more mature audience. Since there will be only one show this particular night, cartoons will be shown at dusk.
Local printing companies and other businesses can sponsor this event by donating $100 to the Highland Park Outdoor Movie Theater. The theater’s website will post a link to your business website and advertise the business in a 30-second ad that will be placed on the screen before every movie shown during the summer.
The event will be on July 25 on Raritan Avenue in the Municipal Parking Lot, which is located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. The main feature will start at 9:00 pm.
