Event for kids of all ages in Edison

A fun show that will appeal to everyone, especially train buffs, is coming to Edison.

Greenberg’s Great Train and Toy Show is a production of the Great American Train Show. The organization has been managing these events throughout the country since 1976, and is the longest-running and largest toy and train show in the northeast. The shows regularly have collectible toys for sale, thousands of trains, merchandise, operating layouts, modeling seminars, and more.

In addition, there will be displays of model trains that are operational, workshops, giveaways, door prizes, and demonstrations. Exhibitors often come from throughout the country to attend these events. A free test track will also be set up, and attendees will be able to run their trains during the show.

The Great American Train Show notes that, at times, events are postponed or cancelled for a number of reasons, but they may not be aware of the circumstances, as they do not book the vendors, or organize the shows, so they advise anyone who is interested in attending the show to check with the local organizers beforehand. Events like this will draw attendees who have similar interests, making them ideal places to exchange Business Cards.

The show is scheduled for November 25 and 26, from 10.00am until 4.00pm both days at the New Jersey Expo Center on Sunfield Avenue in Edison. Parking at the event is free.
