Edison ready to go green

Professionals working in landscaping, hardscaping, or in nurseries, have an event just for them coming up.

Edison will be the place to be soon for the Total Pro Expo & Conference, aimed at people working throughout the green industry. The event lasts for two days, and includes exhibitors, a trade show, and special courses and instructional sessions that will help professionals deepen their knowledge.

The educational sessions will offer opportunities for participants to earn Continuing Education Credits on subjects such as pesticides. Organizations taking part include the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), and Certified Nursery and Landscape Professionals (CNLP). Attendees will have a chance to network with professionals in the industry, as well as their peers.

Attendees will also have a chance to see the new products available in their specialty. Landscapers will find new supplies and equipment to help care for turf; and veneers, natural stone, and pavers will interest hardscape specialists, as will sealers, edging, and polymeric sands. People who work in nurseries will see what's new in plant materials. In addition, equipment to remove ice and snow, along with trucks and trailers, will be at the expo.

The expo runs from January 28, starting at 8:30 am, until January 29 at 4:00 pm, at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. Flyer printing can be used to provide programs, including lists of vendors, for events like this.
