Edison prepares day for pets

Pet parents have a special event to start the new year off right where their furry friends are concerned.

The Super Pet Expo will have vendors with everything pet people need, as well as special events. Among these is a cat show organized by TICA (The International Cat Association), who will have experienced judges on hand.

Celebrity guests include Chrissy Joy & The Joy Crew, who will share their Frisbee skills, tracks, and agility demonstrations. Several of her dogs may be familiar from their work in films and commercials. Joy is the host of the DOGTV shows “Farm Girl” and “The Dog Moms.” Dawn Wolfe will host a panel of pet influencers as part of the event.

The event will be held at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center in Edison. The hours are January 3, 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm; January 4, 10.00 am until 7.00 pm; and January 5, 10.00 am until 5.00 pm. Organizers of events like this often use flyer printing to create a map and schedule for attendees.

People can save on admission by buying tickets online online, where adult admission is $15, with the privilege of returning all three days; and $10 for youngsters from 4 to 11, also with reentry privileges. Admission at the door is $20 for adults and $10 for youngsters, good only for the day. Children under 3 and pets can enter free.
