Woodworking is a special skill, and people interested in the craft can learn about it at an expo in Edison’s New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center.
The New Jersey Woodworking Show has been held for almost 40 years, giving woodworkers a chance to network with others who have the same interest. Organizers of the expo have endeavored to create a balance between learning and fun. The event will include classes, exhibits, and a chance to network with members of local schools, guilds, and clubs who are also interested in woodworking. Exhibitors will have the latest supplies, jigs, and tools.
Seminars and presentations will take place on the show floor, with Tracey Cheuvront and Chuck Bender planning to hold paid instructional sessions. Tracey Cheuvront is a powercarver and creator who specializes in tool restoration, and Chuck Bender is a teacher, furniture maker, and professional woodworker. Many other experts will be on hand as well, along with special guests. Events like this are likely to be the perfect place for industry-related attendees to exchange Business Cards.
The hours of the expo are February 9, from 12.00 pm until 6.00 pm; February 10, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm; and February 11, from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm. General admission is $14, which gives the purchaser access to all seminars that are free, as well as admission to all three days. Other ticket prices are available for those who would like to attend one of the seminars where an admission fee applies.
