An event is coming to Edison that everyone with a love of food is sure to enjoy.
The Great Food Expo will move into the New Jersey Expo Center for two days of food, beverages, and fun. The event is meant for people of all skillsets, and of any age, who enjoy entertaining and learning all about the culinary arts.
Among the participants is Williams-Sonoma, who is sponsoring a cooking stage where its chefs will demonstrate how to prepare holiday meals. Another stage will be devoted to demonstrating how to cook healthy meals.
Celebrities will be attending as well. Chef Graham Elliot, who has appeared on “MasterChef.” “Family Food Fight,” and “Iron Chef,” among others, will be making a special appearance. Fans of Sasha Pieterse will want to attend to meet her and buy a copy of her new book, which she will be signing.
Various pop-up shops are planned where visitors can taste treats offered by pasta makers, chocolate makers, and salsa creators. Drink mixes, flavored salts, cocktails, and sustainable foods will also be available for tasting. Of course, there will be all kinds of kitchen products for sale as well.
The Great Food Expo is scheduled for November 7, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and November 8 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm in Edison. Chef Elliot is slated to appear at 1:30 pm on November 7. Flyer printing can be used to provide schedules for those attending events like this.
