What's Happening in Edison, NJ…

After a hugely successful inaugural year, a fun event has been scheduled in Edison for a second time.

Christmas Con, which features the stars of many of Lifetime Television and the Hallmark Channel's popular Christmas movies, is returning to the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison. The 2019 convention was also held at the Center, but did not use all the space. This time, organizers say, they will need every bit of the facility's 150,000 square feet.

The convention is the brainchild of four friends, Christina Figliolia, Liliana Kligman, Alexandra Isaza, and Trinh Ho, who have known one another since 2007. They got together to watch Hallmark movies at Thanksgiving several years ago, and realized the films are popular with many people. They founded That's 4 Entertainment, and set out to bring something special to fans of these movies.

The first convention drew 9,000 people, and this year promises to bring in even more. Attendees can look forward to over 80 vendors, panels with the celebrities, selfie stations, an Ugly Sweater Contest, and more. Of course, meet-and-greet events with the stars, as well as autograph sessions, are part of the fun.

Over 30 stars are expected to attend, including Jack Wagner, Cameron Mathison, Jonathan Hart, Melissa Joan Hart, and Beth Broderick. Christmas Con 2020 is scheduled for December 11-13. Flyer printing can provide handouts listing a schedule for attendees at this type of event.
