After a night spent celebrating and ringing in the new year, Westfield residents will waste no time hitting the road for an afternoon of frozen fun.
A production of the Central Jersey Road Runners Club, the annual Hangover 5K will be offering an active start to 2022, and as it will not start until noon, it will give everyone time to sleep off the night before. While this race has taken place for the past 38 years, it will be held at a new venue on this occasion - Tamaques Park, which offers a flat route.
To help keep everyone warm while they run, hoodies that feature the run's Logo Design will be distributed to each person who pre-registers. The cap for the activity is 500 runners, and there will be no same-day sign-ups. As the venues offer limited parking, it is advisable to arrive early in order to secure a spot.
