Oktoberfest season is just around the corner, and Westfield residents are invited to join in the revelry. Held in support of the Essex County Parks Foundation, Ales n’ Tails will offer an evening of fun for those who are age 21 and up, and it will be taking place rain or shine.
Guests at the event will be treated to an opportunity to sample dozen of beers sourced from both the local area and around the globe. Food will be available for purchase, and the zoo’s carousel, train, and reptile house will be open for the visitors to explore.
The event will have an Oktoberfest theme, and an ‘Oompah Band’ will help to build the authentic atmosphere of the occasion. Wine, beer, and spirits will all be available for sampling, and the guests can stop by the various food vendors that will be in attendance. The gates will open at 6:00 pm, and both general admission and designated driver tickets are available.
