A Westfield area shop will offer some unique gift ideas along with a fun building competition.
For one day in December, the staff at Durand-Hedden Country Store will be welcoming the public for a holiday shopping party, and to make the event even more special, there will be fun on offer for the whole family. Its Gingerbread House Contest will be back for another year and will be on offer at the Hilton Branch Library. Everyone can enjoy some holiday shopping and then head to the library to take in the displays.
The organizers of the market have said that many of the items on offer will be inexpensive, and they may be a good choice for teachers, friends, and family. Each child, for as long as supplies last, will receive a goodie bag to take home, and these will be filled with Promotional Products and other treats.
Anyone who would like to show off their construction and decorating skills in the Gingerbread House competition is asked to submit their entry by no later than Thursday, December 9. All ages are welcome to participate.
Durrand-Hedden’s Country Store will be hosting its holiday shopping party on Sunday, December 12 and the competition will be held on the same day. Both the shop and the Hilton Branch Library are located in Maplewood.
