Clark plans Celtic-style celebration
A ceilidh can range from a small kitchen party to a full size festival, and Clark will be rolling out the welcome mat for one of these Celtic-themed activities.
The Union County Celtic Festival will be a celebration of Celtic music, food, and culture. Now in its second year, it will be a high-energy gathering, and the Deutscher Club of Clark will serve as the venue for the day.
The plans for the celebration include live entertainment such as piping and drumming, and there will be exhibitions of hurling and Gaelic football. Local food service vendors will be on site, and three bands will be providing the live entertainment.
There are various ticket packages available, and donations will also be welcome. Family passes, which cover admission for two adults and two children from the ages of 6 to 12, are $40. Individual admission starts at $5 for kids ages 5 to 12, and $15 for adults.
One of the tasks often taken on by event organizers is choosing effective marketing materials that are also budget friendly. A poster printing company will be happy to help.
This chance for the Clark area to celebrate, Celtic style, will be on offer Saturday, May 3. It will be running from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.
