Making crepes in the home kitchen may sound like a complicated process, but thanks to a Clark workshop, it can be made a lot simpler.
An interactive session will soon be sharing secrets for making tasty crepes, and Chef Monica Dos Santos will serve as the guide for the lesson. It will be hands on, and each attendee will be working at their own station.
Participants will be making their crepes from scratch, and they can each choose their topping and filling combination. Everyone will receive their own chef’s hat and apron to wear, and the ingredients will all be provided. Anyone who would like to top theirs with a scoop of ice cream may do so, and they can enjoy doing some taste testing of their creation. At the end of the class, swag Bags will be distributed. Its listing notes that it may be a fun idea for an afternoon out with friends or date activity.
A culinary class or workshop can be both educational and fun, and it gives the attendees a chance to learn some new skills they can use at home. Recipe cards and other learning materials can be ordered from area Stationery printers, which can laminate them so they can easily be wiped clean.
This introduction to the art of preparing tasty crepes will begin at 12:30 pm this Saturday, March 15. The venue will be 152 Central Avenue in Clark.
