Camping in a tent can be a memorable experience, and Clark families who register for an area overnight activity will be able to enjoy a taste of sleeping under the stars.
Reeves-Reed Arboretum is prepping for its Great American Backyard Campout, which will celebrate the start of summer with an overnight experience. Advance registration is needed, and a family member level membership or above is also required.
Campers will be treated to a variety of activities, including night hikes, entertainment, and a chance to sample some s’mores. If the event sells out, a waitlist will be available, and the registration fee per person aged three and up is $15, while kids under that age may attend free of charge. Everyone can bring their sleeping Bags and other supplies, and the camp will be set up on the arboretum grounds. Reeves-Reed Arboretum will be helping area families discover the joys of tenting on Friday, June 27. The event will begin at 6:00 pm and wrap up at 8:00 am the following morning.
