Clark area community plans summer celebration
Summer and outdoor cookouts often go hand in hand, and a Clark area community will be hosting one of these festive events.
The city of Elizabeth has cordially invited one and all to stop by Kellogg Park for an afternoon of fresh air, food, and fun. This will be the 5th year for the Ward Cookout and Health Fair , and it has come to be a popular area gathering.
The agenda for the occasion will see the public treated to a variety of health screenings by local professionals, and they can collect promotional products, ask questions and learn how to be proactive when it comes to looking after their physical and mental wellbeing. The kids can have their faces painted, and everyone can enjoy a hayride.
Along with all of the other fun, the function will offer an opportunity to spend some time with some furry friends at the petting zoo. Everyone can enjoy their fill of BBQ fare, and it will be open to all ages.
Community events help to make a city or town a great place for its residents to hang their hats. Signage and other custom materials for an activity can be ordered from a poster printing company.
The date for this year's 5th Ward Cookout and Health Fair will be July 15. The venue for the festivities will be located at the intersection of Fanny Street and Madison Avenue in Elizabeth.
