The UNH Cooperative Extension office provides many continuing education opportunities, and it has prepared a learning session that will introduce an assortment of topics related to forest health. A variety of presenters will address the group, where the Nan and George Mathey Center for People and Nature at Burley Farms will be the venue.
The symposium will cover topics that may be of interest to those who own a property containing a forest ecosystem. Topics such as insect and invasive species identification, disease prevention and control, and other subjects will be discussed, and the attendees will discover how these can impact their own individual land management practices. They can ask questions and even bring along photos or samples for review by the experts.
