Indoor winter market brings community together

The Stratham Farmers’ Market will continue its winter season with a series of indoor market days hosted at the Cooperative Middle School. The event will offer residents a comfortable and dependable venue to purchase local food and handmade goods during the colder months.

The market will feature more than 40 rotating vendors, including regional farmers, specialty food producers, and artisans. Organizers designed the layout to encourage browsing while maintaining easy access for shoppers of all ages. Live performances by area musicians will accompany each market date.

Accessibility remains a priority. Ample parking, including designated accessible spaces, will be available close to the school entrance. Restrooms are located inside the building, along with a limited seating area.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy prepared foods on site. Animals are restricted, though service animals are permitted. Nutrition assistance benefits are accepted, and shoppers using SNAP will receive matching funds through the Granite State Market Match program.
The market operates under the guidance of Seacoast Eat Local, a nonprofit focused on strengthening regional food connections and improving equitable access to locally produced goods.

Organizers may put in place clear signage and directional materials produced by Print shops for events such as this one.

Admission to the Stratham Farmers’ Market is free, and no tickets are required to attend. Purchases will be made directly with vendors.

The market events will occur on January 17th, February 14th, and April 4th. Each day it will run from 10 am to 1 pm at the Cooperative Middle School, 100 Academic Way, Stratham, New Hampshire.
