Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a community meal during the fourth annual Stratham Summerfest, a family-oriented gathering that combines food, entertainment, educational exhibits, and recreational activities.
The festival will feature agricultural displays, animal exhibits, live musical performances, magic acts, antique machinery showcases, children's activities, search-and-rescue demonstrations, commercial vehicle displays, and food vendors. Weather permitting, helicopter exhibits will also be available. Additional attractions include contests, youth-focused programs hosted by local organizations, and complimentary ice cream offerings.
A featured component of the celebration is the Summerfest Dinner, where guests can choose from several meal options. Adult selections include a roasted chicken dinner for $20, a lobster roll dinner for $20, or a combination meal featuring both items for $32. Each adult meal includes side dishes such as corn on the cob, watermelon, chips, a roll with butter, and a choice of iced tea or lemonade.
Children’s meal options are also available. A hot dog meal is priced at $9, a grilled cheese meal costs $8, and peanut butter-based sandwich selections are available for $7. Children's meals include watermelon, crackers, and a juice box.
Community events of this kind often rely on banner printing to highlight festival features.
Admission to the festival is free, and it will take place on Saturday, July 18 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Stratham Hill Park, 270 Portsmouth Ave.
