A community road race in Stratham is set to return for its fourth year, bringing together runners of various skill levels in support of a local nonprofit initiative.
The event will raise funds for Miracles From Mimi, an organization focused on enhancing educational opportunities for students in the surrounding area.
The main race will feature a 5-kilometer course open to participants at a cost of $30 for those who register in advance. Same-day entry will be available for $35, while individuals aged 65 and older will receive a $5 discount. A complimentary half-mile youth run will precede the main race, offering children an opportunity to participate at no cost. Registration for both events will close on May 15.
The race will be professionally timed using chip technology, with support services including marked distances, a hydration station positioned midway through the route, and parking provided on-site. Awards will be distributed to the top three male and female finishers, with prize amounts of $100, $50, and $25. Additional recognition will be given for record-breaking performances, along with first-place awards across multiple age divisions.
Organizers note that early registrants may receive commemorative race merchandise while supplies last. Promotional outreach for events of this scale often relies on traditional marketing methods, including poster printing, to engage participants and spectators.
The event will take place on May 17. The youth run is scheduled from 8:30 am to 9:00 am, followed by the 5K race from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The starting and finishing point is located at 39 Gifford Farm Rd, Stratham, New Hampshire.
