A veterans’ parade is being planned for Kernersville next month to honor the memory of servicemembers and military veterans.
The 2nd Annual Kernersville Veterans’ Parade is getting ready to launch. The parade will honor the men and women from around the region who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The organizers will create a heartfelt atmosphere to show appreciation for these local heroes, and the entire Kernersville community will be invited to attend and pay tribute.
The parade will have a variety of floats, including patriotism, military vehicles, and marching bands, to enhance the festivities. Organizers will also line Main Street with American flags and ensure space for spectators to take in the parade. Banner printing is an effective way to thank parade participants while promoting the event’s organizers and sponsors for brand awareness.
After the parade, a Heroes’ Welcome event will provide a meal to veterans and their families at the Kernersville Farmers’ Market. Speeches will be given after the meal to share reflections on military service and sacrifice. Guests can expect a moment of silence after the speeches to recognize servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The parade will start at the Kernersville Downtown Council building on Sunday, November 10, starting at 3:30 PM. Attendance is free. Interested parties are encouraged to dress for the weather.
